My all time favorite place for a awesome get away trip. Their all so friendly and respectful at the lodge. A Lot of great things to do around the lodge and off site of the lodge.
Rooms weren't great. Lots of bugs. The restaurant is pretty good. The area around the lodge is very nice
Always great food and service, from a local family owned restaurant. The king cut prime rib is a monster. The blue cheese dressing is worth the price of admission. Good beer made on site. The bar is an interesting place with it various memorabilia. Often gets bogged down by too many tourists and race clubs. 1 knock, wish there was some gluten free options, pasta, or non breaded apps. If you are GF, you will not have many options.
Unfortunately I spend last Tuesday night at this place. Price 70 plus tax which is to much, I choose a little cabin for my stay and when I got to the room it was cold the heat wasn't turned on even do that they were specking 40 degrees temp, the heater board was just enough for a small bathroom, so I set it at 80, then I proceed to check the bed and found woman's hair in the sheets and in the pillows, no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, so I went to the office and the lady which I must said she was very nice and polite, give me another room with no shampoo nor conditioner, the carpets really needs to be replaced it was disgusting, so I have to get some sleep and have to stay there. In the morning I found three rude, nasty and impolite woman and one looks like the housekeeper, and when I complaint they not even blink, basically they don't give a sh...t about it or and for the price they not even have a bagel for breakfeast...my recommendation to you..STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, I almost forgot I saw two little roaches in the bathroom in the morning. I wish I could give this people minus 20 starts for price, cleanness and attitude, so do it your self a favor and look in town they are so many other places even a brand new hotel...I know I should stay there instead
Nice fun place,ok accommodations, clean for their age. I've been coming to the glen for many years now and this is the first time I stay here usually we camp but we got rained out tonight. The restaurant had great food and the bar is a must stop just for the decor, this place is like going back in time. As long as you realize what your going into you won't be disappointed.
Book early if your conning for a race weekend this is the place to be for vintage weekend.
