OMG! This was a fabulous tour! It was so heartwarming to meet the animals all rescued from the horrific animal agriculture industry. I can’t wait to visit again!
Just loved staying here...the tiny houses are fantastic and the view is so peaceful. Self serve vegan breakfast and a guided tour were included in our stay. Being able to connect with the rescued farm animals and learn about their stories was a great experience. Cannot say enough good things about this organization.
I spent the afternoon at the Watkins Glen animal sanctuary today and it was amazing! Was lucky enough to have a very small group tour. Just my husband and I and another couple with their little son. What a wonderful experience! Out in the field with cows. Beautiful pigs and goats. Up close and personal with all the animals was just a warm wonderful experience. Made my visit to Watkins Glen perfect! If you ever visit you must come here!
Words cannot describe how much I love this place. The farm is beautiful along with the amazing staff who care so much about the animals that reside here. Whenever I'm in the area I try to make a trip.
Such a serene and beautiful place. What struck and impressed me the most is the very high standards that must be in place -- everything is in top notch condition, not new, but extremely well maintained. None of the spaces we visited had the "farm smell" of animal refuse etc. It's a little thing (though not so little for a city girl such as myself), but I think it points to the care and respect people here have the animal residents and the organization of which they are a part. We stayed at one of the tiny houses during our stay, and it was an amazing experience.
