Tops has quality products including meat and produce. The Tops store is modern and not too large to be overwhelming. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The quality service is fast. There is a nice deli which features cooked meals as well. The bakery has a good selection including cookies, cakes, and pies.
Incredibly disrespectful, I've complained now 3 different times about the lack of disrespect that two different Tops locations have given me. Not once have I received a phone call back from either store or anyone higher up. Working in retail myself I know to never let a customer leave the store unhappy and the customers come first. I being a Tops shopper previously to today will now never shop at any Tops location again because I've had it with the lack of respect I've been given and the rudeness of everyone at the store. You would think after three different times of complaining for the exact same thing they would grasp simple customer service.
Gas is available at this location. The store is located on the main street of Watkins Glen, and has a convenient parking lot.
Everything here is rediculously high priced. The employees are great, but I can believe the prices. Even with a tops card it's still high. $4.50 for a gallon of milk?
Clean store and decently sized. They have good sales item there and there and some steep discount for items close to expiration date.
